  15. : The key word is "directly".  To date, Razor Pro and Razor Pro NT are 
  16. : the only video editing apps that directly support the PAR and 
  17. : Perception.  DPS has talked for some time about releasing a set of 
  18. : conversion utilities that will make AVI aware apps see native ANI 
  19. : files as AVI.  The downside to this approach is that you don't have 
  20. : "real time" effects, etc.  Stick with Razor Pro!

  22.    I see that the recommended system for running Razor Pro is a Pentium 
  23. system with 24 meg ram and a decked out PAR/Microp drive.  My question is 
  24. real world results using the recommended system as opposed to a 486dx2-66 
  25. with adequate ram, etc.  What is the average processing per frame rate 
  26. for a simple 3-4 layer compostie with alpha channels on the recommended 
  27. system?  Just how fast to the majority of transitions render?
